Biraghi

The family business Biraghi was founded in 1934 by Ferruccio Biraghi. The company operates a large facility in Cavallermaggiore (north of the Po River) where over 500 farming families deliver milk to the production site.

Biraghi produces cheese of the grana type without added lysozyme (egg protein). The cheese offers a pleasant mildness and a soft flavour. Their Gran Biraghi ages for 12 months, and grated cheese is a top seller domestically.
