Parmareggio

For over 40 years, Parmareggio has manufactured what is considered the world’s finest cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, known as “Il re di formaggio” (The King of Cheeses). The company originates from Montecavolo, south of Reggio Emilia in Emilia Romagna. Since 2004, it has been part of the successful Granterre consortium.

The company now offers diverse products with various aging periods, package sizes, and innovative items based on Parmigiano Reggiano, making it a leading player in Italy and globally.

Within the Granterre group, several other DOP-labelled cheeses are available: Grana Padano, Piave, Asiago, Pecorino Romano, and Montasio.
